14. Restaurant Kee Yee

There is a restaurant that we really recommend for breakfast! The name of it is Restaurant Kee Yee located in Taman Gaya. During breakfast hour, it is always crowded because of the delicious food and also the reasonable price of it.

We ordered the pandan kaya and butter toast. The bread is beautifully toasted with the golden crust on it. Inside it, they use cold-chilled butter which is very firm in texture. In Johor, there are not many kopitiams or restaurants that use pandan kaya. The pandan flavour is very rich and we can taste the aroma from the pandan leaves. Other than that, we also ordered luncheon meat steamed bun, which we name "mantou" in Chinese. It goes well with the fried egg, cucumber and also tomatoes. We would love to have these kind of breakfast everyday.
