2. The Toast

The Toast has become one of the famous breakfast spot in Johor selling a variety of toasts. Initially, it started as a simple kopitiam but now it has expanded with many branches in different location. Every different kopitiam comes with different interior design. The environment inside this restaurant is very comfortable and relax as the lighting and decoration give a sense of gentle and geniality. Of course, the most important element, air-conditioner, is inside the restaurant. Therefore, every customer is able to enjoy their breakfast, brunch or lunch and even dinner now.

The waiters are very effective to serve us with their menu. We decided to order the famous toast as the name of the restaurant has suggested... "The Toast". We ordered a Kaya Toast and the time taken to prepare was less than 5 minutes, which was surprisingly faster than the fast food chain in Johor.

  

The taste of Kaya Toast is very delightful and it has a great handful amount of Kaya on it. There was a small piece of butter which enhance the flavour of Kaya even more. The toast was very crispy on the outer and soft in the inner part. The Kaya was neither too sweet nor insipid. We highly recommend this kopitiam. They serve many varieties of food and worth the try!
