4. Old Town White Coffee Grand
Old Town White Coffee Grand is a cafe that has cosy environment with quiet ambiance. However, this does not mean that the visitor to the cafe is less. On the contrast, the turnover in the cafe is high, however, customers were lowering down their volume during conversation with friends.
We had ordered a cup of white coffee as well as set of kaya toast in this cafe. Unlike most of the cafe or kopitiam that only offered kaya toast, Old Town White Coffee Grand does also offer steam bread, or even toast with eggs as toppings.
The bread that used in the cafe is brown in colour which was different with the most of the kaya toast. The bread of the kaya toast was crunchy while the kaya fillers was not too sweet. The combination of the sweet kaya and butter in the toast was mean to us since we can taste both of the kaya and butter flavour.
For those who are looking for a place for quiet gathering can try to visit Old Town White Coffee Grand which located in Taman Mount Austin. The price of the meals is reasonable while the taste of kaya toast is good and it make us to enjoy our brunch. However, the speed of serving food is slightly slower than other kopitiam or cafe.
Overall, we are suggesting coffee lover and kaya toast lover to make a visit to this cafe because the taste of both coffee and kaya toast are worth for the price.
